Zior & Monument
Cherry Red are now the proud representatives of three legendary rarities from the early 70s Progressive Rock boom.
Originally issued on the Nepentha label in 1971, Zior‘s sole eponymous LP hinged around the talents of multi-instrumentalist Keith Bonsor, with productions duties from Peter Lee Stirling (and a cover designed by the seam team behind Black Sabbath‘s debut). That same year, Bonsor & Co. recorded another album as Monument for the Beacon label, themed around witchcraft and voodoo.
In 1973, a second Zior album of out-takes, Every Inch A Man, surfaced in Germany. Now Zior are back with a brand new album Spirit Of The Gods – which will be included in a forthcoming 4-CD box set with the previous three LPs. Vinyl rights for Zior and Monument are available.
